MISSION: TO PROMOTE LONG-TERM, RESPONSIBLE USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES THROUGH INFORMED MEMBERSHIP, EDUCATION AND COMMUNITY AWARENESS.
The Mid-Coast Audubon chapter, our local Audubon chapter, extends inland from Boothbay Harbor, west to Windsor and China, and east along the coast to Bucksport.
There are many chapter members outside of this area and throughout the country who prefer to be members of the chapter. Audubon members can designate they wish to belong to Mid-Coast Audubon when becoming new members or renewing membership.
Membership benefits include: subscriptions to Habitat: Journal of the Maine Audubon Society and Mid-Coast Bulletin, the bi-monthly newsletter of Mid-Coast Audubon Society; discounts on Audubon field trips and programs at Audubon sanctuaries, nature centers and nature stores around the state and across the country.
To also receive a copy of AUDUBON magazine, add $10 to membership.
